This recent project from VM ART explores the experience of feeling born in a body that does not match one’s inner self — a theme that reveals how much pressure, confusion, and emotional weight society places on anyone who does not fit expected norms.
In a world full of noise, opinions, and polarized debates, the artwork points to a deeper truth: much of the suffering comes not from identity itself, but from how the world reacts to it.
Judgment, isolation, and misunderstanding are the real wounds.
“IT’S ALL IN YOUR MIND.”
The concept originates from the 2019 short comic story:
“Who Shot a Pig?” where characters navigate unbigously between the bodies they inhabit and the expectations imposed on them.
…ever misplaced, mislabeled, or caught between who YOU are and who the world wants you to be.
